A grouted and sealed finish is also achievable with Silca System.
1) Install Silca Grates over deck structure as per usual (x6 screws per grate)
2) Cover grate surface with a geo textile cloth or similar
3) Lay down pavers with gaps using spacers or shims
(if you still wish to spot glue fix, areas can simply be cut from the cloth to allow adhesive direct between tile and grates, some heavier type pavers or flagstones do not require adhesive)
4) Apply a Flexible Grout or a Polymeric paving sand per manufacturers specifications
Remember when building your deck structure to have suitable fall as to let rain water drain from the finished surface.
Collection of that water may be required e.g. edge guttering, depending on the size and situation of your patio/deck.
This application suits a more solid 40mm + type paver such as concrete or natural stone, rather than tiles.
It allows more edge surface area for the grout to purchase so you can achieve that solid patio feel and be assured it will stand the test of time.
As the finished surface is sealed, this application is not classed as a permeable surface.
