Embracing the picturesque scenery of Kaiwaka, this location offers a distinctive landscape with its sloping terrain, complemented by an exquisite out-of-ground concrete pool. The challenge at hand was to establish a foundation that not only supported the weight but also enhanced the aesthetics of the area, with 40mm thick natural granite pavers as the final touch.

Employing the classic, standard install method of Silca Grates screw fixed on timber joist, provided the ideal solution. A robust and trustworthy substructure on which to execute the installation.

Perfect for those frequent and wet usage spaces. It stands as a testament to both design ingenuity and practicality, harmonizing effortlessly with the breathtaking backdrop of the surrounding landscape.

Customer feedback for this project:

“Using Silca System for the granite paver deck turned out to be brilliant and outperformed our expectations.
The Silca paving system was excellent to install – 4 hours to install 50+sqm of the Silca grates. – 2 people working on it – one person placing one person screwing them down.
Then about 10 hours to lay all the 800x400x40 granite pavers – just over 40Kg each – so a bit over 9 tonnes of pavers installed up to 3.5m off the ground!”
